DeAnna duPont created "DuPont and Company" as a way to manage all of her careers in one place. Over time, the company became more and more about sustainable tourism.

 

With local family ties dating back 300+ years, DeAnna wanted to keep the DuPont legacy alive in New Orleans while changing the narrative to help improve the city and state. 

 

From day one, DuPont & Company has offered exciting opportunities for travelers coming to Southeast Louisiana to enjoy vacations, conventions, our professional sports teams, and our local events, tours, and cuisines.

We now offer an array of quality walking tours where DeAnna and a few of her tour guide friends get to share their passion for New Orleans with the lucky patrons who come along for the walk and leave as friends.

The tours include historical neighborhood walks, haunted experiences, environmental tours, ecological walk, cuisine and cocktails experiences and even cemetery tours.

We can give you a VIP experience with a private tour that is customized to your needs. You could opt for a conversation with a meal when you pick our "dine with a local" experience. We can also do a "parlor tour" at your own location or virtually and we offer "history talk nights" for small or large groups

 

Aside from tours, DuPont and Company handles  property management services & performing arts classes.

 

DeAnna is a tour guide in New Orleans and New York City, a content writer for Hearst Publications, tourism director for Louisiana culture and works for numerous tour companies. She serves as 2nd Vice President for the Tour Guide Association of New Orleans.
